DE5IGN Fridays with Dr. Aisha Densmore-Bey

AIGA Boston is pleased to announce our April 11th, 2025 DE5IGN Fridays speaker: Dr. Aisha Densmore-Bey. DE5IGN Fridays is a short, semi-weekly creative-community-powered webinar-style virtual salon sponsored by the Boston Chapter of AIGA. DE5IGN Fridays was launched with the goal of elevating and celebrating design in our community. Bring your questions, curiosity, and lunch for a quick dose of design inspiration.

Dr. Aisha S. Densmore-Bey, a licensed architect, runs a Boston based eponymous creative office specializing in architecture, graphic design, design strategy, film, and art. Aisha created Future Prep 101: How to Prepare Teens for Design Careers. This half-day seminar exposes high school students and their parents to multiple design disciplines. Aisha is the writer, producer, and director of the award-winning film short ROOM. She is also co-founder of the collaborative open-screening film platform 100 Minutes. Aisha’s children’s book, Who Made My Stuff? Miles Learns About Design is included in the collection and on display at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, part of the Smithsonian Institution.
