APM aims to ignite dormant creativity in readership and share the people and processes behind creative works. The brand and issue contents incorporate different prompts for the audience to put on your Artypants.

SPEAKERS: 

Maryann Gibbons
Editorial Director and Founder of Artypants Magazine

Maryanne Gibbons navigates the world and relationships with intrinsic curiosity. By mindfully pursuing endeavors that elevate and challenge her soul, she aims to inspire and support others to do the same. In her day-to-day work, Maryanne serves in marketing at Bothwell Engineering (BEI), where the team prioritizes strong client relationships and collaborative innovation in the life sciences industry. She is also the Editorial Director and Founder of Artypants Magazine, a print publication that spotlights the art, processes, and stories of New England creatives. The magazine is currently in development on its third issue, Labyrinth, slated for release in Spring 2025. Before this chapter, Maryanne owned and operated a successful houseplant brand and brick-and-mortar shop for five years. Earlier in her career, she spent more than a decade as a licensed social worker in child protection. Her experience with the Commonwealth, the courts, resistant populations, and collaterals built a strong foundation for her attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and exemplary case management skills.

Outside of her professional life, Maryanne draws inspiration from her 50-year-old 35mm camera, the great outdoors, and her family.

 

Chandlyr Jackson
Designer, attentive listener, and curious optimist.

Chandlyr Jackson leads the UX Design team at Nova, a distinguished digital and physical design consultancy based on the East Coast. Nova tackles intricate challenges across diverse industries, with a primary focus on women’s health and wellness, life sciences, and consumer electronics. With nearly ten years of experience, Chandlyr brings a multidisciplinary skill set honed through collaborations with a wide range of clients—from innovative startups to established industry leaders. Dedicated to building meaningful, lasting client relationships while cultivating new ones, Chandlyr views design as a transformative tool, capable of enhancing collective well-being by centering user needs at the heart of each challenge.
