Adventures in Disruption with Sam Aquillano

Endicott College and AIGA Boston are pleased to present Adventures in Disruption, a live talk and book signing by Sam Aquillano. Based on Sam’s 2023 book of the same name, Sam will share insights, answer questions, and offer valuable perspectives for those interested in the intersection of design, business, creativity, culture, and entrepreneurship.

In Adventures in Disruption, Sam shares the real story of how he and his team built Design Museum Boston, which later became Design Museum Everywhere and now lives on as CoDesign Collaborative. Sam is currently a Design Director at Edward Jones where he leverages his over 20 years of experience as a business designer and entrepreneur. Copies of Sam’s book will be available for purchase and signing.

Sam earned a BFA in Industrial Design from Rochester Institute of Technology and went on to design consumer electronics at Bose Corporation. There, in 2008 he received the Red Dot Design Award for design. Sam has taught design and entrepreneurship at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and Babson College, where he earned his MBA in 2014. Sam has worked at and consulted with some of the top brands in the world including GE, Kodak, Bose, Shark/Ninja, and Philips using creativity, design and business strategy to solve complex problems for people, business, and the environment.  In 2019 Sam was named one of Fatherly’s 100 Coolest Dads in America.
