Want to meet other freelancers? Hang out with local Creatives?

Join a community of like-minded folks (and hopefully feel a little less isolated).

The first 5to9 Club event at Shy Bird in Fenway September 18th. All creatives and freelancers are welcome, not just designers :)

A once-a-month gathering where freelancers and creatives connect, share, and inspire each other in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. Think coworkers grabbing drinks after work, but for the creative community.

WHEN + WHERE:
Wednesday, September 18, 6:00–8:00 PM EST ShyBird, Fenway
Future events will rotate locations and times for accessibility

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • GATHER: Meet like-minded freelancers and creatives in a welcoming, inclusive space
  • SHARE: Participate in organic roundtable discussions on topics that matter to you
  • INSPIRE: Celebrate wins, exchange advice, and discover collaboration opportunities

 

KICK-OFF EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Quick round of introductions for all attendees
  • "Analog" poster presentations: Who are you? What do you do? Share a fun fact!
  • Community-driven discussion topics (future events will be voted on by attendees)

EVENT FLOW:
6:00 – 6:15 PM | Arrive, grab a drink, settle in
6:15 – 6:30 PM | Creative introductions & poster presentations
6:30 – 7:45 PM | Roundtable discussion & organic networking
7:45 – 8:00 PM | Wrap-up & optional continued connection
Flexible timing: Come late or leave early as needed!

TICKET PRICING: $5 per person
All proceeds support future AIGA Boston programming and events.
