Call for Volunteer Reviewers

You’re invited to participate as a reviewer for the 2015 AIGA Student Portfolio Review. It’s on Saturday, April 25 at the Lesley University, Arts Commons (1801 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge MA 02138), from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM.

This AIGA event is an opportunity for graphic design students from throughout New England to present their portfolios to a varied body of design professionals for feedback and critique.

We’re looking for a group of passionate, dedicated, and candid volunteers to serve as portfolio critics. This is a wonderful opportunity to help support and shape New England’s next generation of professional designers.

Approximately 75 students from around New England will be scheduled to show their portfolios during three specific sessions throughout the day. The schedule for the sessions are as follows:

  • Session One: 9:30 – 11:30 AM
First group of students and reviewers
  • Session Two: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Second group of students and reviewers
  • Session Three: 1:30 – 3:30 PM
Third group of students and reviewers

We need 20-25 reviewers per session. We ask that each volunteer reviewer commit
to one of the sessions. You are welcome to volunteer for more than one session, or for the duration of the event, but we understand that weekends are busy and we’re very grateful for any time you can commit.

Please email Nick DiStefano, Director of Education to confirm your participation. Let us know which session you can attend, including your professional and/or academic affiliation. Please forward this information onto colleagues who are interested in reviewing as well.

Thank you very much for your support. We look forward to seeing you at the 2015 Student Portfolio Review!
