Come hear the truth from Stephen Doyle about words and their dreams of becoming real. Romp with him through the language of color making moods, enchantment, seduction and surprise. Be horrified at his overuse of the word "Delight." If that doesn't do it for you, ask him about the time Martha Stewart threatened to kill him! See what a designer gets up to when he is tired of answering his clients questions, and decides to ask some questions of his own.
Stephen Doyle is principal and creative director at
Doyle Partners where he brings his background in editorial design to play in some unlikely places - from mass-market retail to exhibitions, from corporate communications to packaging. Notable projects include branding, packaging and in-store presentation of Martha Stewart Everyday in Kmart as well as new identity programs for Barnes & Noble and the global real estate firm Tishman Speyer. From CDs to film titles, installations and global brands, he insists that it is the "mix" that keeps the thinking fresh and the execution lively.

I found Stephen's lecture to be truely inspiring. I loved his sense of wonder about the world that we live in, his sensitivity to color and typography, and of course, deeply appreciated the mania that drives his creativity. Bravo!
