Everyday Design: Great Finds from Around the World

Images of everyday objects from more than 18 countries encourage visitors to make comparisons and engage with items not traditionally considered "designed." From wood screen-printing blocks used to make sari patterns in India to cartoon-like graphics on Japanese stationery, these beautifully designed and highly functional items inform and inspire. "Everyday Design" seeks to open an exchange of ideas among cultures, and to create greater exposure for designers and a fuller understanding of graphic design.

idarg: Identidad Argentina | Argentinean Identity

Argentinean identity is a constantly evolving, complex concept. By developing an iconography that rebrands and represents the country's historical events, art, geography, cuisine and traditions, Buenos Aires designers Hernán Berdichevsky and Gustavo Stecher of imagenHB have created a new symbolism for Argentina, presented in this exhibition.

Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders

Developed by the Yale School of Management and AIGA, "Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders" uses case studies, lectures, guest speakers and study groups to give creative leaders a more complete understanding of business and design through the eyes of business executives (i.e., clients). Led by some of the world's most experienced business scholars and teachers, this program will help participants to understand the senior business executive's perspective: his/her approach to cost-based decisions, marketing, new product development, strategy, brand management, customer relationship and knowledge management.
Enrollment is limited to a select group of senior executives who have high-level involvement in design and strategy projects. Space is limited.

People Centered Design: Tools & Inspiration

At "Image, Space, Object 5", a Rocky Mountain/High Ground Workshop in partnership with AIGA, small teams of participants and studio mentors work together to create multi-dimensional environments, human interactions and brand strategies. Research, modeling, team ideation and experiential prototyping are employed throughout the three days to produce tangible final presentations that can be brought back to work and used with your design teams.
