BU School of Visual Arts BFA Senior Thesis Show

Friday, May 2nd, 2014 from 6-8pm
808 Gallery, 808 Commonwealth Ave, Boston 02215

Boston University AIGA Student Group invites you to Thirty Nine, a BFA Senior thesis exhibition featuring the work of all 39 students from BU’s School of Visual Arts. Mark your calendars for the opening reception.

Over the course of three months, all branding and collateral for Thirty Nine was designed by BU AIGA’s Student Group Executive Board in collaboration with small committees from each SVA major. Senior representatives from sculpture, painting, graphic design, and printmaking answered various questions to reflect their experiences at BU and within the College of Fine Arts. From there, various directions were developed to reflect these visions and ultimately all were in favor of Thirty Nine. Our class felt it was important to stress the youthfulness of our work—but to also represent our professionalism as emerging artists. Ultimately the brand highlights the variation of our work and our senior thesis’ contained within this one exhibition.

Join us Friday, May 2nd, 2014 from 6-8pm in 808 Gallery, 808 Commonwealth Ave, Boston 02215 for the opening reception of Thirty Nine. In the meantime, follow Thirty Nine on Facebook for sneak peak.
