About
AIGA's mission is to advance designing as a professional craft, strategic tool and vital cultural force.
Founded in 1983, AIGA Boston is one of the largest chapters in the country with over 800 active members. Our entire New England design community totals over 2,500 individuals. All chapter events and activities are directed by our volunteer board of directors.
AIGA is a professional association committed to stimulating thinking about design through the exchange of ideas and information, the encouragement of critical analysis and research and the advancement of education and ethical practice.
Engage with AIGA Boston to
connect with the Boston design community and get the most out of your membership.
Consider joining one of our
book groups in order to
stay current on design thought and to get to know fellow designers in a more casual setting.
Like to
get behind the scenes or have ideas about events or initiatives that our chapter should pursue? Think about
volunteering.
Want to make a difference for our inner-city youth by exposing them to the power of design? Explore hosting a high school student in your office this summer through
Youth Design Boston.
And don't forget to
join us for our monthly informal AFTA gatherings. Check our
event listings for the time and place.
